Scenic Caves on Blue Mountain, Barrie

Many people know the Blue Mountain for its famous skiing facilities. We skied there during a few winters.

Have you, however, heard about Scenic Caves at the Blue Mountain? A place, where you can spend a day, during summer.

There are several activities, each age group can find their own favorites.
I favorite to the cave tour, the zip lines, and the suspension bridge. I would suggest you take the cave tour first, then zip line down, cross the suspension bridge, then take the tractor back to exit. This is the option one.

The second option is, if you don’t want to take the zip line, then you should view the bright first by a 5-minute walking downhill, afterwards, ride on the tractor back uphill, then continue on visiting the caves.

Now let's follow the trail map, and check each caves.

A must-see spot is the Fat Man's Misery. Make sure you are not "thicker" than 14".
Before and after this Fatman's Mistery, we also enjoy all these natural formations
Oh, I nearly forgot to warn you, there is a grant black bear, guarding the entrance of the trail.
Here are some other activities: mini-golf, gold-mining, play-ground, mini-train, ...:

By now, let's take a rest and look around:
We arrived at this park around 1:00 pm. By that time, all the parking lots are full, and the road side are not allowed to park. We had to wait, at the entrance, for someone to leave.

I hope this article can partly answer you on these kinds of questions:
Where to go for a day-trip at Barrie, Ontario?

I also have articles at http://brightleap.blogspot.ca/ which may help you too.
