Cascades Park in Quebec

Have you seen sliced stones, leaning and resting in an angle?
I speculate that all these stones had been standing upright for million years. One day, with a sudden force (earthquake?), these stone slices were falling, stopped at about 30 degree slop,  like a sliced bread:
People are lying on the hot stones, sinking in the cold water.
There are many small waterfalls on the site. This splendid place is the parc des Cascades, Rawdon, Quebec.
It is about one hour drive from Montreal.
I would suggest you pack an extra 30 minutes with you, as the traffic is snail-moving, when passing a nearby town.

With an admission fee of $7 per adult, you got a wristband. The goodies are  that these wristbands allow you to visit another two parks nearby.

Take another look at the beach, and don't forget to read the information board (you can grab some meaning, even though you don't understand French at all, like me):
